Pimps In Da ‘Wood

Hugh Hefner is one of the most successful pimps of all time. That’s a forgone conclusion. Hef, yes I call him Hef. Hef is the role model for many an aspiring pimp. Why? For a multitude of reasons. Let's focus on the most critical ones.

1. He works in pajamas - No Corner Cadillac Office for this playa. Crushed velvet hats, jewel crowned canes, and fur collared capes can be difficult to ignore, even for cops on the take.
2. Doesn't have to choke a bitch - Hef always gets paid. Many an aspiring pimp may be turned off by having to backhand a ho for their money. Besides, those street corner beat-downs "r bad fo bidness."
3. Doesn't have to cruise bus stations - Ladies come to Hef to be pimped out. Many an aspiring pimp may not possess "the hustle", or cutthroat acumen it takes to stock his stable with hos.
4. Never a shortage of hot young and willing poon - Hef doesn't need to keep his bitches in line. There's always another one lined up to take the place of the previous one. There's constant turnover and it's always top shelf.

Hef is the King of Pimps. He stole Dorothy Stratten right out from under her boyfriend/pimp, Paul Snider. Paul Snider was a small time pimp with big pimpin' dreams. Big pimpin' should be left to the big pimps, which is a lesson that Paul Snider, and sadly, Dorothy Stratten learned the hard way.

Dorothy Stratten shot to stardom, thanks to the pimpin' of Hef. She won Playboy's Playmate of The Year for 1980. She was a mansion regular, met many celebs, including Peter Bogdanovich, who she started a relationship with. Paul Snider knew he was losing his meal ticket, couldn't handle it, so he killed Dorothy with a shotgun, then turned the gun on himself.

 There's a developing situation, IMO, with Courtney Stodden. Is this girl Dorothy Stratten? No. Does she have some of that "it" quality? IMO, yeah, she does. And her husband Doug Hutchison, basically he's her pimp, could be the next Paul Snider. Doug Hutchison has had on screen success in tv and movies, but so what. That reality tv show their supposed to have in development could turn sour. Then what is there for an aspiring starlet with dreams of stardom and her "manager" to hang their hat on. Courtney is ripe for the picking from a Master Pimp on the level of a Hef. Her saving grace may be the decline of Playboy and the lack of another such enterprise led by a Hef-like pimp. 

Maybe I'm jumping he gun. This is probably more like a svengali type deal, with John and Bo Derek. John seemed to have some sort of mysctical, magical control over Bo, muck like Doug has over Courtney. You would hope that's the case. Of course this is all speculation and is probably completely wrong. Let's hope so. Because if Courtney was lured away from Doug Hutchison, last thing anybody needs to see is another Dorothy Stratten tragedy. 

 

Doug and Courtney is probably just harmless self-promotion. Comparing their situation to Dorothy Stratten and Paul Snider, or John and Bo Derek was basically just a means to get some pix of hot chix up, as the end.
